||
This is the travel motor head for the Komatsu PC300-6 final drive: a complete hydraulic piston motor assembly with valve block, relief valves and parking brake, ready to bolt onto the existing reduction gearbox. Buying the motor head instead of the complete final drive is the economical route when the gearbox housing and gears are still sound but the motor has lost power, leaks internally or will not hold the machine on a slope. Every unit is flow, pressure and brake tested before packing.

| Machine model | Komatsu PC300-6 excavator |
| Part name | Travel motor head / final drive hydraulic motor |
| Motor type | Variable displacement axial piston motor, two speed |
| Assembly includes | Motor body, piston group, valve block, relief valves, parking brake |
| Mounting | Bolts to the existing final drive reduction gearbox |
| Condition | New aftermarket replacement, tested |
| Packing | Anti-rust film, foam support, timber case |
The motor head is drained, plugged, wrapped in anti-rust film and shock absorbing foam, then fixed inside a timber case. We send packing photos and the packing list before dispatch, and ship by express or air for single units and by sea for workshop stock orders.
Q: Is this the complete final drive or only the motor head?
A: It is the motor head only — the hydraulic motor with valve block, relief valves and brake. The reduction gearbox, gears and sprocket are not included. Tell us if you need the complete assembly and we will quote it.
Q: Is it a genuine Komatsu part?
A: It is a new aftermarket replacement built to the PC300-6 mounting and performance requirements, priced well below dealer parts.
Q: How do I know if I need the motor head or the whole final drive?
A: If the travel motor leaks internally, creeps, or loses power while the gearbox oil looks clean, the motor head is usually enough. If the oil carries metal or the machine has a mechanical knock from the gearbox, the full assembly is the safer choice. Send oil photos and a short video of the fault and we will advise.
Q: What is the warranty?
A: Three months against manufacturing and assembly defects, provided travel relief pressure is set to specification and the case drain is clear.
Q: How long is the lead time?
A: Usually 3 to 7 working days for stock units and 15 to 25 days for production orders.
Q: Do you supply CE or EPA documents?
A: This is a replacement hydraulic component, so machine-level CE or EPA certificates do not apply. We provide test records, material certificates and the commercial documents your customs broker needs.
Q: How is the unit packed for import?
A: Ports are plugged and protected, the motor is foam supported inside an ISPM 15 marked timber case, and packing photos are sent before dispatch.
Q: Will the motor cope with high ambient temperature and dust?
A: Yes, provided the hydraulic oil is at the correct viscosity and the cooler is clean. On sites above 45 C we recommend checking case drain flow and oil temperature after fitting.
Q: Do you accept L/C for fleet orders?
A: Yes, T/T and L/C are accepted, and repeat fleet buyers can be supplied against a rolling schedule.
Q: How do you prevent rust during sea freight?
A: Internal passages are oil coated, shafts and flanges are film wrapped, and moisture absorbent bags are added inside the case for humid destinations.
Q: Can I ship this together with other final drive parts?
A: Yes, motor heads, gearbox parts and sprockets are commonly combined in one LCL shipment to reduce freight.
Q: Is the motor suitable for high altitude mines?
A: The motor itself is not altitude sensitive, but relief pressure setting and oil viscosity should be confirmed for machines working above 3000 m. Spanish documents can be issued on request.
Q: Can our workshop swap the motor head with basic tools?
A: Yes, it is a bolt-on unit; a torque wrench, lifting gear and a clean work area are enough. We supply an installation note and can send photos of the mounting face before shipping.
Q: Does cold weather affect the motor head?
A: The unit itself is fine; cold start behaviour depends on oil grade. We mark the recommended viscosity for below -25 C on the packing note.
Q: Which documents are provided for customs?
A: Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin on request, plus a technical description sheet with machine model and unit weight for correct classification.
We focus on after-market hydraulic and powertrain maintenance parts for construction machinery, covering hydraulic pumps, travel motors, swing motors, final drives, control valves, gear pumps, gearboxes and diesel engine components for excavators, mining dump trucks, skid steer loaders, rotary drilling rigs, pile drivers, concrete mixers, pump trucks, cranes and harvesters. Our workshop supplies both single-part repair orders and full overhaul kits.
