This is the regulator assembly (lifter) for the HPV145 main hydraulic pump used on Hitachi ZX330, ZX350 and ZX360 excavators. The regulator is what converts pilot pressure into pump displacement: it strokes and destrokes the pump as load rises, so a worn regulator shows up as slow hydraulics, a pump that will not cut back, or an engine that lugs and stalls under dig load. Both electronic injection (电喷) and direct injection (直喷) machine versions are available — tell us which one your machine is when ordering.

Installation Notes

2. Clean the mounting face and ports, and cap the hydraulic lines while the regulator is off to keep dirt out
3. Transfer the adjusting screw positions from the old unit as a reference, then set pressures to the workshop manual value
4. On electronic machines, check the solenoid plug, harness and controller output before blaming the regulator
5. Run the machine through a full dig cycle, check for leaks, then recheck pressures after the first few hours of work

A: Electronic injection machines control the pump through a solenoid on the regulator; direct injection machines use a different arrangement. Send us the machine model plate and a photo of the old regulator and we will confirm the version before shipping.

Q: Can I fit it without a pressure gauge?
